Try the following if Архива's server returns "too many connections"
Edit server.conf C:\Program Files\MailArchiva\server\webapps\ROOT\conf\server.conf.

Change following:

subsmtp.socket.backlog=500
subsmtp.maxconnections=10000
archive.threads=30
